Lebanese olive oil is eligible for duty-free entry to the EU member states under the signed Free Trade Agreement between Lebanon and the EU. However, many olive oil importers in European countries complain that in practice this is never the case and Lebanese olive oil is subject to high tariff rates during custom clearance.
