IDAL represented by its chairman and General Manager, Dr. Mazen Soueid, participated in the third edition of the Agri-Food Innovation Days (AFID) in Beirut that is organized by Berytech and co-hosted with Horeca Connect. During this 3-days event, Dr. Soueid launched IDAL’s new export promotion platform, Lebanon exports, in a panel discussion that was moderated by Ms. Leila Sawaya, UNDP project manager. IDAL also supported along with the UNDP and UNIDO the organization of a very successful business matchmaking event where more than 100 Lebanese companies were able to conduct one-on-one meetings with more than 26 international buyers who were invited from 5 countries by the economic attaches in the Lebanese embassies. This B2B event proved to be essential and much needed by the Lebanese SMEs as they try to expand and diversify their markets amid a challenging economic environment.
